North American Symposium

na-Symposium-2

Encouraged by the annual success of the Jerusalem Symposia, ASF has convened two North American Symposia in partnership with Mechon Hadar in New York City. These symposia attracted college students, Jewish professionals, grad students from Jewish professional programs as well as many interested individuals from the community.

The participants were treated to outstanding scholars and thinkers reflecting on timely and complex issues in a series of presentations, panels and breakout sessions. The standing room only crowd engaged in the topics:

  • Jews, Judaism and Power at the 2014 Symposium
  • Judaism, Human Equality and the Quest for Justice at the 2015 Symposium.
